Up for sale is a beautiful pair of Thiel CS2speakers in great condition. Very heavy with superb build quality, they sound crisp, musical and coherent with airy highs, intimate mids and punchy bass. All drivers are working perfectly and cabinets are in great cosmetic condition with some blemishes from normal use. Tweeters have minor dimples but in perfect working order. We have Thiel CS3.5 Coherent Source Loudspeakers (Set of 2) in VERY GOOD CONDITION for sale. We received this pair of speakers from Louisville Actors Theater here in Louisville, KY. They were manufactured by Thiel in Lexington, KY in the 1990s. They are FULLY functional & are in stunning vintage condition. The cabinets appear to be made from teak. There are a few scratches consistent with their age. Please see photos. Free LOCAL pickup. Local delivery is available for a fee dependent upon location. There are no tears & no cracks. There is some give when I push on the midrange, consistent with their age. One of the midranges appears to have been professionally replaced at some point in time. Unfortunately, I have no way of testing them myself. Louisville Actors Theater had tested them prior to giving them to us. They are in the process of downsizing to a smaller building & weve been volunteering our time to help them. I own Griswold Rubbish Removal LLC & as a thanks to us for our help, they give us items that can be sold. For sale is a pair of Thiel CS 1.2 crossovers that need repair, please see pics. Surprisingly both emit sound however one of them needs to hot glue a coil back down and both have parts that need replaced as pointed out with pen in pictures, please see pics You will receive everything you see in the pictures, if it is not pictured then its not included.
