This and the sloping back baffle allow the sounds from both drivers to arrive at the listeners ears at the same time. This driver came out of a new old stock and is in excellent condition. Thiel SC- 1.6 floor standing two-way speaker. It tested out fine at 6 Ohms and is a drop-in replacement for any blown 1.6 mid ranges out there. Overall dimensions are 7.25 inches on flange with a 3- inch dome. After inspection I noticed the cone of the woofer is stuck like halfway down and doesnt pop all the way out, so its doing its full range vibration. Also noticed the foil paper under the middle cap is ripped. Im not an expert and have no idea if these issues can be repaired or if the woofer needs to be completely replaced. Either way, unit is being sold as is, assuming for parts or repair, sale is final. Cosmetically the case is in pretty good condition, comes exactly as shown, see pictures. Serial # 365. ...
