Folks- this is a rare and hard-to-find Vifa M10MD-39-08 midrange driver. Coated paper cone, rubber surround, magnesium alloy frame, vented double-stacked magnet. A finely crafted driver from Denmark. This is the midrange driver as used in Thiel CS2 speakers. Not sure what other models it was the OEM midrange for. Note that if you are going to use in a Thiel CS2 you may need to cut the flange to fit correctly up against the tweeter. (This is what Thiel did). As you can see this was produced the 44th week of 1985. Nearing 40 years old!!! Wow. In good operational condition, no functional issues. Note that some paint is chipping/missing around the screw holes and on the rear of the mounting flange. This is definitely working and functional and will be packed carefully. Please ensure your speaker is working correctly as I cannot accept returns in the event you have a bad crossover or something that causes damage to this. I have two of these- but selling separately since people may need only one. Condition is slightly different in terms of the paint on the rear of the flange and the hand-coating on the cone, but generally condition is the same. .

This sale is for the Single THIEL MCS1 LCR Speaker with grill and original box that is photod. (Original box not in photos but it is included). The speaker was part of a set from the original owner who used this speaker as his center, but with a pair this speakers makes an outstanding hifi stereo speaker with sub added that will perform with speakers way beyond their price point. The speaker is very heavy. As soon as you pick it up you will marvel at the build quality. The speaker is fully functional, well cared for. The cabinet and grill is free from damage, but does have some light scuffs. One end has a bit more scuffs than the other from sitting on its end at some point in its life. The cabinet corners are from damage, no heavy chips etc. There is a very small dimple on one of the woofer dust caps that is slightly noticeable when looking for it. This is very minor cosmetic and not is performance hindering. The rubber surrounds are in excellent health. Woofers move free from any sort of coil rub. Tweeter works perfectly. The speaker will be ready to plug and play when you receive it. Rest assured this speaker will be carefully packaged by competent audio loving hands for safe transit.
