Dazu habe ich jedoch keine Unterlagen. Das Herstellungsdatum auf den Kondensatoren (vgl. Fotos, Yageo manufacture date-code 09/13 und 02/16) zeigt zumindest, dass einige Komponenten 2013/2016 erneuert wurden.Dieser Wandler liefert an den RCA-Ausgängen mit knapp 17 dBV (ca. 7V eff./0 dBFS bei 19 dBu) ein sehr starkes Ausgangssignal, was in einer hochwertigen Anlage von Vorteil ist, aber heutige Consumer-Geräte überfordern kann. Im Consumerbereich sind heute nur noch -10 dBV üblich.Am Eingang benötigt der Theta eine hochwertige digitale Quelle mit einem sauberen Takt, da seine Elektronik zur Taktsynchronisierung noch auf dem Stand von 1990 ist. Wer ein Gerät mit einem unsauberen Takt (z.B. Apple TV zweite Generation) als Quelle verwenden möchte, braucht dazwischen einen Jitter Killer.Wenn der Theta nicht sofort einen Lock auf das Eingangssignal bekommt (rote LED), muss einmal zwischen den Eingängen umgeschaltet werden.Klanglich ist der Theta hervorragend, klingt ebenso gut wie Studiogeräte z.B. von RME.
