Speakers use spring loaded wire binding posts. The speakers are in excellent working order. They are clean, in very good cosmetic condition with some scuffs/scratches that are hard to notice on the white plastic. Please note, for one speaker, when lifted in the air and moved up and down, something very small loose can be heard moving inside (speaker performance not affected).
