They have flat membranes of coated honeycomb reinforced cellulose and inverse lock (concave, so the rubber surround goes in, not out so gives a very flat appearance) There are perfect if you have faulty woofers in you Teufel M 950 FCR Speakers but they would be superb in a home built speaker as, being THX Ultra 2 certified (and a £500 speaker), they are of very high quality in both build and sound quality. The total width of the each speaker is 18cm (Teufel say the actual woofer is 16.5cm) and the mounting depth is 9.5cm.
