Heres a refurbed Telefunken rec/play head suitable for a 1/4, 1/2 track tape recorder. It has been relapped to remove the very small flat on the head face (from use...) and then polished up to a pretty good shine. It measures up ok on the Tenma inductance meter showing a value right in the middle of Telefunkens recommended values. Unable to physically test at the moment unless I hold it up against the tape on an echo unit....There are several pre- and post-lapped Telefunken heads in a box here so if per chance one is wonky, there are plenty more where that came from!It has its original fixing bracket which you may not need but will help protect the head in transit. Itll be very well packed, thats for sure...

Heres a small lot of five Telefunken 1/4 rec/playback heads to suit a half track mono recorder. They are all similar with minor differences in head profile, number of pins and indeed, part number.They have been lightly reprofiled and then polished up to a high gloss with an inductance check as a final hurdle. To be honest, these harder type heads never need that much relapping and most of the recovery procedure was polishing and inductance checking. This was done by tekky Dave when he was King of the relappers, so to speak.Please see pics for the decent finish to the faces of these heads, again, rather difficult to photograph properly!

Rare PlayBack and Record pair of 4 track Heads for Telefunken M10 ,they can fit on M15 / M15A headblock by adjusting the levels, possibly also for T9 and M5 when adapted and installed properly depending on the type of headstock.Was told tha these come from a NOS stock which has been stored over years.Overall in great condition very hard to find , you may find some little signs on the housing which is normal due to age.
