Power house from 1986 circa the Technics SU-Z990 integrated amplifier with 2X100 Watt outputs and THD ( Total Harmonic Distortion ) of 0.03%, matching ST-Z990 AM/FM stereo tuner, Technics RS - D225W matching double cassette deck and most important WORKING REMOTE CONTROL for this system. Performance - all works including all integrated amp settings, both main and satellite speaker outputs, all illumination/indication lights works, all inputs, in this case the cable inputs are good. Amp even has a CD input cable, no CD player included. Radio comes with AM antenna and for FM simple Speaker wire can serve as antenna. AM/FM stations comes in strong. The double cassette deck plays/records and does everything what it should. Remote control works and is set to operate a CD player and a turntable if matching decks are hooked up. For parts or repair. The amp for the most part works. One problem is it doesn’t play both main & remote speakers at the same time it has to be one or the other. The other problem is if you try to max out the volume the speakers shut off & you have to power it off & back on to get the sound back. The cd player plays but skips backwards on tracks & the disc tray sometimes wants to jam up some on the way in. The tape player also partially works. Tape 2 plays good with no problem but tape 1 doesn’t play. Auctioning as is for parts or repair. If you have any questions feel free to ask & thank you for looking.
