Both speaker covers have some damage to the pegs used to hold the speaker cover in place - see photo. Speakers have been tested and are fully functional. Technics SL10 Quartz Direct Drive Automatic Turntable. Please read carefully before bidding. This turntable was bought in Japan in the 1980s. It comes with a separate transformer to convert the voltage so it works with its UK plug. When bought we didn’t realise the voltage was for Japan hence the need for the transformer ( see photo) We recently set it up and it played a record but it kept sticking after a few minutes of play. This could suggest the stylus needs looking at ?? I’m not a HiFi expert! Also one of the feet has come off. We have the foot but the spring inside is missing. We set it up and rested the foot underneath and the turntable worked. When we connected the turntable to a Marantz Special Edition amplifier and a pair of Goodman speakers, the sound was heard but there was no bass so the record sounded ‘tinny’. Again I’m not sure why. The appearance isn’t too bad with only slight signs of age such as a few light marks and scratches. Please look at the photos and ask any questions before bidding.
