It is the Technics best EQ (equaliser) for both analog and digital signals, it is a DAC (digital to analog converter), its a ADC (analog to digital converter) and a signal processor with programmable functions. This device came out only for Japan market --- never got to US or Europe. The manual is only in Japan, the computer software on floppy discs x2 (will be send in email also if required) is only in Japan and some descriptions on the device are in Japan too. But the absolutely best function is the EQ where you decide about every EQ point. You decide about the frequency, abut the amplitude and about the shape of every single filter --- each channel separately. It gives you absolutely incredible possibilities of sound modelling. All the filters are added up. The processing is made on 40-bits multipliers. Inputs and outputs of the DSP processor have 24-bits, so this is the-state-of-the-art device. Each of configuration you can write to one of three device memories and use it without a computer. The software was made for Windows 95, but it runs also on Windows 98 and Windows ME.
