This Technics SA-120L combines an analogue FM / AM tuner with a 35W per channel amplifier with Wideband frequency response (5Hz to 70kHz). It has a moving magnet phono stage, auxiliary input and tape input / output with monitoring facility. There are two pairs of switchable speaker outputs, bass / treble and balance controls, automatic frequency control to mute the static between FM stations, and a weighted tuning dial. Ive reconditioned and cleaned this inside and out, cleaning the controls properly by carefully disassembling each, not just hosing them with contact cleaner and hoping for the best. Ive also checked over the electronics and everything is in great working order. It sounds really nice and has excellent sensitivity on FM and AM, and a very nice moving magnet phono stage. There are no antennas included, but you can use standard wire antennas (300 or 75 ohm), readily available online. The AM antenna uses a small plug, you can buy the Technica original AM loop antennas on eBay. There isnt much on AM these days anyway, sadly. The receiver will be extremely well packed for safe delivery. The quoted postage covers Royal Mail tracked 48 postage to a UK address. There are upgrades available at checkout if you want next-day shipping services. Technics SA-120L Stereo Receiver/Amplifier. Tested immediately prior to listing. All the inputs including the phono input are working fine. I believe these were manufactured in 1985. In good condition for the year but does have some small marks and blemishes in keeping with its age particularly on top of the unit where it was part of a stack system. Please study the numerous photos carefully to fully appreciate the condition. The receiver has inputs for tape, phono and cd/aux and outputs for two sets of loudspeakers.
