One of the finest examples of a Technics RS-M17 youll find in wonderful condition. It has been extensively refurbished including new belts from the DeckTech range, which are the best replacement belts on the market. Ive tried every manufacturer out there over the years, and I will only ever use these now. The mechanism has also been cleaned, oiled and greased where appropriate. The heads are in excellent condition, the pinch roller is perfect, and over all I dont think this deck has seen much use. Speed stability is impeccable, and the deck runs smoothly and quietly. I have also cleaned the controls, cleaned the fluorescent display (which is as clear as the day it was new), checked over the electronics and replaced passive components as necessary, and ensured that the deck is fully calibrated to the Technics factory specification. These decks were made at the height of the so-called stereo wars and no corners were cut in their build quality or performance. The auction will run to the end and sell to the highest bidder. Please only bid if you intend to pay, I have had an influx of people winning auctions and not paying recently and it just creates hassle for us both.
