The tape player powers on and lights up. The cassette buttons all work. We tested the play, stop, rewind, fast forward and eject buttons. We do not have the components to test the sound. This is why we are listing the unit as “parts only”. Thank you and have a good day!

Technics RS-M11 stereo cassette deck Silver Made In Japan in 1979 Deck is in good condition. There are a few minor scratches on the top and front. You can see the photos for more details. TESTED and playing tapes ok. It might need some fine tuning with regards to the motor speed, head demagnetizing etc. Belt might need to be replaced in the near future. Headphones out - ok Line out - ok Tape counter - ok Mic inputs left/right -ok Rewind, forward, eject, stop play and pause - ok Record function - ok Input meters - ok Smoke free environment. This is a vintage Technics RS-M11 MK2 stereo cassette deck that powers on. It has a small silver screen and a tape band. The audio outputs include a headphone jack and stereo L/R RCA, while the audio inputs are RCA. The unit features a cassette tape and belt drive, and has a headphone jack. It was manufactured in Japan and is part of the Technics product line. The unit powers on, I have not tested any other functionality so that is why it is listed as “for parts/not working”
