Das Gerät lässt sich einschalten, das Kassettenfach lässt sich öffnen, die Wiedergabe funktioniert. Jedoch lassen sich deutliche Geräusche aus dem Laufwerk vernehmen und die Wiedergabegeschwindigkeit schwankt deutlich. Weitere Funktionsprüfungen wurden nicht vorgenommen. Optisch ist das Tapedeck sehr schön erhalten und zeigt nur geringe Gebrauchsspuren (siehe Fotos). Wegen der genannten Einschränkungen versteigern wir den Technics RS-M258R als DEFEKT und ohne Gewährleistung. We sell a defective Technics RS-M258R Cassette Tape Deck on behalf of a customer. The device can be turned on, the cassette compartment can be opened, playback works. However, clear noises can be heard from the drive and the playback speed fluctuates significantly. No further functional tests were carried out. Visually, the tape deck is very nicely preserved and shows only minor signs of wear (see photos).
