TECHNICS BY PANASONIC TAPE DECK PLAYER & RECORDER MODEL #: 615 (RS-615US) TESTING NOTES Power tested and consistent. Lights up in all designated areas. No issues with buttons or knobs. Fast fwd and rewind are working. As you can see by photos of counter & dB reading, PLAY was initially working, and still DOES spin on the right side. LEFT roller DOES spin for rewind & fwd with tape inside, just not for play. Motor is checked and moving good, belts seem fine and moving properly. Although the big belt may have a bit of slack but I cant really tell. No broken teeth on gears.Capstan seems ok, pinch rollers fine, head is clean. My theory is its either belt is a tad loose and needs replacement, or a gear or spring that I cant see thats stuck, not engaging, or may need cleaning, oil, or replacement. I cant reach that area without taking further apart and I dont want to mess it up. EXCELLENT COSMETIC CONDITION No dings, dents, scuffs, or scratches. No broken buttons, no missing or damaged pieces. Technics 615 cassette deck. The cassette deck turns on and does play cassettes but it gets progressively slower the longer it plays. Not sure if belts or a new motor or something else is needed. Otherwise it is in good shape, please see pictures.

Spielt und spult in beide Richtungen. Nicht am Verstärker getestet, keine Ahnung ob und wie es klingt. Aufnahme ungetestet. Verkauf ausdrücklich als defekt, keine Rücknahme! Plays and winds in both directions. Not tested on an amplifier, no clue how it sounds. Record function untesed. Explicitely sold as defect, no returns! NO shipment outside EU, sorry!
