TECHNICS SA-515L VINTAGE stereo Hi-Fi AMPLIFIER RECEIVER FM MW LW Tuner Amp The unit turns on but no sound from any of the inputs so the receiver is sold as spares or repairs.

This is very nice and fully working Technics SA-5170 Stereo Receiver manufactured from 1977 - 1978. It was serviced just under two years ago. Everything works as it should except the red stereo light bulb. Not a big deal to replace if you need it. If you want an affordable, simple, easy to use, receiver that will catch your eye when it’s lit up then you should check one out. This isn’t a powerhouse of a receiver at 25 watts per channel but it’s a good little performer. It features: Tape in/output; Phono input; Aux input; Speaker selector for main and remote; Loudness button; FM muting – on/FM auto off/FM mono; Separate bass and treble controls; AM, FM, phono and aux selector; and Tuning meter. Dont let the 25 watts fool you, this receiver gets plenty loud. The veneer is in very good condition as well except for one bottom side corner shown in photo. Technics by Panasonic SA-5170 vintage stereo receiver (works but not very well)We had been using this receiver for several years but recently it started to act up. The AM/FM selector knob is stuck in the AUX position and there's a scratch in the sound when we played records (volume knob may just need to be cleaned)Overall this might just be something for parts if you need, or go to someone who knows what they're doing with refurbishing.

Technics Receiver SA-5170 & Cassette Deck 615. Receiver comes on fine and seems to be in working order. I connected the cassette deck which also comes on fine and plugged in some speakers. All the functions and buttons seem to work but it didn’t play properly with the sound coming intermittently and jumping around a bit. May be something that can be sorted if you know what you’re doing. These are nice looking condition overall with no damage to wooden areas. Would have to say that they are probably a project for someone and can’t guarantee anything so priced accordingly.
