Powers on and strobe shows it steady at speed but it doesnt go through the automatic functions correctly. Most likely dried grease so youll have to go through it and service whatever is needed. This Technics SL-235 has been gone through by a technician and is working well. It has an Audio Technica AT71 cartridge with a new elliptical stylus. It plays well at both 33 and 45 RPM. It’s a fully automatic belt drive with a new belt. The plinth shows some wear and the buttons have some discoloration. The single play spindle is not original. The dust cover has a few scratches, but no cracks. It is missing the hinges. There are feet present that don’t appear to be original, but work well. It will be packed well for safe shipping.
