Really fell in love with this tape deck. It had been a while since wed had one about 30 years and we got this thing and fell in love with it. That was about 18 months ago We used it for a few months did everything we needed to do and did some recording and its been in the box ever since and a climate controlled storage facility in our studio. Everything about the unit is perfect. We were neverusing the remote and it ended up being misplaced when we first got the unit. This is what a modern tape deck is like its amazing in every way including the ability to pair it with audacity or any other number of software including alesis and cakewalk basically anything you can think of. Ableton lite was also useful with the TEAC W1200 TEAC came out with this thing a few years ago and we really wanted it My wife and I and then finally we made the purchase and started converting our files from our recording days and then we did some new recording with it too and really wow it was amazing.
