We test our cassette decks for several hours using a combination of very old, worn tapes, new old stock tapes, pre-recorded original tapes, and custom made tapes from our own new tape stock. Only when a deck can make it through a test cycle without any major issues, and without eating a tape, do we post them for sale. Despite all this, it will still eat a tape from time to time. We DO NOT guarantee your tapes will work. Handling Time Note...It is our policy that all Sony cassette decks undergo an additional, complete test before being shipped out. This is to make sure this deck you purchased will function correctly as Sony cassette decks from this era are notoriously unreliable. TEAC W-700R double cassette deck. Great unit in decent condition. The left deck is working as it should be but the right deck has a Bee Gees tape jammed in it. It plays back but the mechanism seems to have jammed. Ideal unit for someone who knows how to fix this. Price has been reflected. Also, the text print is every so slightly faded on the lower part of the unit but it is still readable. Will be well packaged and sent by secure courier. Collection also available from WF10
