The deck is fully serviced and the following repairs have been done: - Cleaned the heads and pinch roller.- Lubricated the capstan/motor shafts.- Replaced the belts and idler tire, adjusted the speed, W&F 0.075% to 0.085%. - Checked the playback/record heads for correct azimuth.- Replaced the faulty power supply/logic pcb board. - Adjusted the electronics for correct levels using TDK SA tape. All the functions are operating as they should be, playback, record, ff, rew, pause, counter, counter memory, bias fine, timer, headphones, dolby B/C, DBX, CPS, MPX. The performance is excellent (maybe one of the best sounding decks I have ever heard), the sound is warm, the bass is deep, the mid/highs crystal clear with wide stereo image in both modes (play/record). The deck is in very good condition, considering the age (see the pictures). This is a 120V model, S/N 80501 42. All the questions are very welcome. I moved recently in US from Greece, where I was working in Greek Nakamichi service during 90s and I have all the professional equipment (original test tapes, oscilloscope, wow & flutter meter, distortion meter, frequency response meter, CR-7 test unit, 1000ZXL test unit).
