Tested working. The disc tray was a bit finicky at first but it got better the more I used it. A couple of times it looked about a 1/4 inch short of fully closing. I just helped it that last 1/4 inch and it was fine. Somewhat typical of these late 90s models. I played 5 discs through it completely and it played all of them well. Disc skip, shuffle functions, and other buttons work fine. Display has some marking on it but does not affect operation.
