The front looks pretty good with some usage marks visible. The woodemn sides and top look not that bad too. Only issue is that trough the years the cabinet has lost some is stability. It is definitly not falling apart but there is some wiggle room in the cabnet. Ich habe mich entschieden, eines meiner Hi-Fi-Juwelen zu verkaufen, den legendären TEAC X2000R. Der X2000R ist der Nachfolger der wunderbaren X1000-Serie. Er wurde 1985-1989 gebaut und war im Grunde die letzte Generation von Heim-Tonbandgeräten, die das beste Know-how für diese Geräte enthielten. Der X2000R ist ein Autoreverse-Recorder mit 3 Motoren und Dual-Capstain-Laufwerk. Er verfügt über einen der sanftesten Bandtransporte aller Tonbandgeräte, wodurch das Band bei jedem Betrieb stabil und stressfrei bleibt. 6 Köpfe, die Wiedergabe und Aufnahme in beide Richtungen ermöglichen. Die amorphen Kobaltköpfe sind nicht nur verschleißfester, sondern bieten auch einen sehr angenehmen, unverwechselbaren Klang. Ein gut kalibriertes Gerät kann einen atemberaubenden Frequenzbereich von 30 Hz bis 40.000 Hz bei hoher Geschwindigkeit (19 cm/s) und ebenso respektable 30 Hz bis 24.000 Hz bei niedriger Geschwindigkeit (9,5 cm/s) aufzeichnen und wiedergeben! Die meisten Tonbandgeräte würden den X2000R um seine Leistung bei niedriger Geschwindigkeit beneiden, insbesondere wenn man das DBX-Rauschunterdrückungssystem berücksichtigt, das den Signal-Rausch-Abstand auf über 100 dB bringt! Legen Sie eine 10-Zoll-Spule ein und Sie erhalten 6 Stunden ununterbrochenen hochwertigen Sound!... Weitere erwähnenswerte Funktionen sind der Bandwähler (EE/Normal), die manuelle BIAS-Kalibrierung (um die beste Qualität aus jedem einzelnen Band herauszuholen), die manuelle Geschwindigkeitseinstellung (um die Wiedergabe von Bändern zu korrigieren, die mit einer leicht falschen Geschwindigkeit aufgenommen wurden), ein digital programmierbarer Bandzähler mit Echtzeitanzeige, Speicher, Funktionen zum Zurücksetzen auf Null und Zurückkehren auf Benutzerdefiniert, automatische Bandspannungseinstellung, separate Regler für Stereomikrofoneingang / Line-In-Eingang / Wiedergabeausgangspegel. Ich habe dieses Gerät während des Covid-Lockdowns gekauft, viel Zeit damit verbracht, es vollständig zu warten und zu kalibrieren und war mit den Ergebnissen äußerst zufrieden. Seitdem wurde es sehr selten verwendet, hauptsächlich an einigen gemütlichen Abenden mit Gästen. Es ist ziemlich schmerzhaft, es loszulassen, aber vor kurzem habe ich auch den Pioneer RT909 gekauft, es war eine ziemlich große Investition und ich muss einige der Ressourcen zurückgewinnen. Der TEAC X2000R wird mit dem originalen Holzgehäuse geliefert, das einige unangenehme Gebrauchsspuren aufwies und das ich mit neuem Furnier überziehen musste. Jetzt sieht es unglaublich frisch und cool aus. Dieses Gerät wurde kalibriert, um mit einem brandneuen RTM LPR35 Band die bestmögliche Qualität zu erzielen. Aber falls der Käufer eine umfangreiche Sammlung eines bestimmten Bandmodells hat, könnte ich helfen, das Gerät für dieses bestimmte Bandmodell zu kalibrieren. Nun noch ein paar Worte zu den Mängeln, viele gibt es nicht: Das Glas über den Pegelmessern ist etwas beschlagen, aber das ist kein Schmutz, es muss poliert werden. Auf der Gehäuserückseite fehlen zwei Kunststoffrippen (siehe Fotos) und die Tasten zur Wiedergabesteuerung weisen leichte Abnutzungsspuren auf. Weitere Mängel gibt es nicht, das Gerät läuft einwandfrei, alle Teile und Schaltkreise funktionieren einwandfrei. Es stammt aus einem Nichtraucherhaushalt und ist innen und außen absolut sauber.
