Purchased this four years ago and initially had no issues, but in the past few months have noticed that it refuses to read several of my CDs that work fine in other players. For the discs that dont read, the player displays read error after insertion. Other discs read fine - I have taken photos showing both scenarios. Since this is not working properly, I have listed it as for parts/not working. I disassembled the unit and cleaned the laser after attempting to use a laser-cleaning disc tool, but there were no improvements, so I am getting rid of it. Includes original power cord and remote. Purchased this four years ago and initially had no issues, but in the past few months have noticed that it refuses to read several of my CDs that work fine in other players. For the discs that dont read, the player displays read error after insertion. Other discs read fine - I have taken photos showing both scenarios. Since this is not working properly, I have listed it as for parts/not working. I disassembled the unit and cleaned the laser after attempting to use a laser-cleaning disc tool, but there were no improvements, so I am getting rid of it. Includes original power cord and remote.
