Here is a wonderful little integrated amplifier with onboard digital/analog convertor. It spent all its time in a guest bedroom so it saw very little use but sounded excellent with either the KEF Q150s or the ELAC Debut 2.0 B6.2s I paired it with. This integrateds small footprint almost makes it seem cute but the Burr-Brown DAC and amp sections hold their own. No, this wont fill your 20 x 30 foot home theater with chest pounding thump, but in smaller rooms and with the appropriately chosen speakers it nicely acquits itself as a smooth and wonderful piece of audio kit. This is especially perfect to replace the cheesy amp and DAC that most desktop and laptop computers are provided with It also performs well in a system as I described before, an intimate office or bedroom system. The only negatives Ive seen are both related to the remote, it has no power button, it must be turned on from the front panel, and that the buttons on it arent always responsive and sometimes need a second press. Neither of those bothered me since with the space it was in, a short walk to the dresser top was no problem, and I cant recall a time when the remote didnt respond normally. That said, I wont promise you will never experience it and need to press a button again.
