This listing is for a reel table for the 10 1/2in members of the A-3300 family, which runs through to the A-3440 and includes some TEAC-TASCAM Series models such as the Model 44. Please check the photos for the top and the bottom - as an example, there are some early 3300 models with a brass center piece and this is not compatible with those decks. This reel table has a new manufacture shaft and the edge has been polished to remove some light corrosion. Let me know if you need the screws that this is attached with. Ill include these at no additional cost. I have many other spares for these decks available, too many to list. Please ask if you are looking for something in particular. This will ship First Class or Priority Mail as you choose. Im going to ship this in a box, which pushes the USPS cost up a couple of bucks, but its the right thing to do for something so rare with a new shaft - a lot get bent in shipping unfortunately. The Teac A-3340S with three-motor/three-head design assures trouble free and stable operation. Its stable DC servo-controlled capstan motor provides absolute minimum of wow and flutter. First: There are twice as many tracks/channels as on a stereo machine, so you can separately record 4 microphones/instruments instead of just 2. Each of the 4 instruments, or other audio sources, will reside on its own track.Second: Since each of the 4 separate microphones/instruments/audio sources records to its own part of the tape (track), YOU CAN OVERDUB = GO BACK AND ERASE AND RE-RECORD ANY 1 TRACK WITHOUT DISTURBING THE OTHERS. ***PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE LISTING BEFORE PURCHASING!*** For sale is a TEAC A-3340S 4 track 4-channel 10.5 inch Reel to Reel tape deck recorder. It is in very good condition albeit with scuffs, marks. Wooden panels are in fairly good shape with some minor wear and dings on one . Refer to pics. Included is the original box and the owners manual (although not pictured). It has been tested, serviced, calibrated and the heads were cleaned and demagnetized for the best sound ever. The mic inputs were tested and they work as well as the other inputs. The pots and switches were sprayed and the metal parts were lubed as well. Both channels are clear and superb sounding as well. The belts and caps were checked and they’re good. All the functions work and the VU Meters light up and jump like they are supposed to. The sound when recording at 7 1/2 IPS is very clear and better and wider sounding than the Source recording from, depending on the type of tape used and better at 15 IPS . The heads are also in very good shape which is obviously why the quality is awesome as well. Pictured reels are my personal set for testing, for demonstration purposes only and NOT INCLUDED.
