This listing is for a TEAC RC-204 wired remote. This is for the TEAC X-2000R reel to reel - Ive occasionally used it with my own X-2000R and it works exactly as it should. It will also control the X-2000, X-2000M and TASCAM 3030, noting they dont have the reverse play functions. Note that I have an RC-205 in a separate listing. That was sold for a couple of high end cassette decks, but is essentially the same remote as the RC-204 with different labelling. Ive tested it with my X-2000R and its fully functional except you have to know what the buttons are labeled on the RC-204. Its also around half the price of this. Great condition and fully functional Teac RC-204. I have used it occasionally with my 2000R, but admittedly not as much as I thought I would. Ive opted to sell it off to someone who will use it or want to add it to their collection. No visible damage or scratches and cable is still nice and flexible.
