Wer sehr gerne und oft laut hört kommt voll auf seine Kosten mit diesen Weichen. Der manchmal nervigen Mitteltonbereich ist samt und weich und von nervend keine Spur. Wenn man laut hört stimmt einfach alles. Sehr weicher detailreicher klarer Klangbild das Gänzehaut macht.Die Weichen sind eigentlich auf 15 Red getuned aber mit Golds klappt dass genau so gut wenn nicht ein Tick besser. These are prototypes with extremely well balanced sound stage.Just the 2 capacitors in the High Frequency circuit costed 500 Euros per crossover and they were worth it! The filters are similar but effect slightly different areas of the sound spectrum around 2 - 3 kiloherz. I find it dreamy when both filters are active. With both filters activted together more resistence is needed in the circuit and that is what the third switch is for. I talor made these for my hearing preference. If you like to listen loud most of the time you will love these crossovers with both filters active! The sometimes nervy midrange is soft and not in the least nervy. If you like it loud the sound is pretty damned near perfect. Very soft detailed and clear sound on a black background that can give you goose bumps. Several people heard these and were quite impressed at what you can get out of a 15 Tannoy.The crossovers are actually tuned for15 Reds but work with Golds equally well if not a tick better. First I used Reds for some years but in the last few years was running these with Golds.Will answer any questions.

Tannoy Little Red Monitors In Excellent Cosmetic condition. A beautiful pair of LRM’s The covers are original with original badges , all the rest of the components are original with no tampering. There are a few very small, (extremely minor in my opinion) scratches and slight fades in the veneer. Please take a look at the photos to decide for yourself the condition. No studio mounting holes, wax fills in the veneer, bad glue job on the cones etc Sonically, These speakers sound as they should. They were recapped a few years ago and have been serviced and made to perform within the manufacturer’s specification. They come from a non smoking home and have been handled and used with care and respect.
