Vintage TANNOY 12 BLACK loudspeaker single with matching crossover. Made in the United Kingdom, these rare and highly sought-after speakers from the renowned Tannoy brand are a true gem for any audiophile or vintage electronics collector. Tannoy is world famous for their renowned loudspeaker called the Monitor. The black version is the first and arguably the best variant ever made. This particular 12 Black is in excellent condition, considering its age. It sounds great and performs as it should. During my ownership, I have had a tech fully inspect and test everything. It has been verified that this is a monitor black thats fully original and working as it should. In the pictures are the serial numbers shown. I acquired this from a vintage audio collector local to me (in New Zealand) who picked this up many years ago at an estate sale. Please note that this monitor loudspeaker is either very early production or very late due to the subtle and rare differences shown, when compared to the well-known versions of the monitor black variant. This is evident by its style and layout. This all is in original condition. There has been one repair made that has been professionally done and minimally done so that it is not that noticeable. This repair does not affect the loudspeakers performance and sound. The loudspeaker has its original crossover with it. This sale includes the Tannoy Monitor Black 12inch and its matching crossover.
