ForUK only Sale2 Tannoy Monitor Gold Type LSU/HF/12/8 Drive units with Crossoversand Connection Panel Condition: I have listed as For parts or not working as I have no way to test and verify their condition accurately. They are original and sold as seen. The cones and dust caps are intact, surrounds are in good condition. Cone excursion is fine and the spiders are in good condition. The frames are in good condition with a few signs of black paint (from enclosure baffle painting!). One crossover lead has a repair to the cable, other is OK. Overall, the condition is as expected for the age. All Pictures are of actual speakers. History: These speakers were bought new between 1969 -1970 andhave been stored unused for approximately the last 10 years. To my knowledgethey have only ever been driven by low power valve amps (Quad 11s). They will be packed in double skinned boxes. Each unit including packing weighs in excess of 8.5kg, therefore the P&P charges are for secure courier. Local pick up is available. Any questions please ask and I will try to help. Used in a vintage hifi system but selling to fund my purchase of some Diana TCs. Drivers and crossovers are in near perfect condition. Enclosures are in fair condition. Tannoy Lancaster Monitor Red LSU/HF/15L Speakers Serial No. 054924 and 164450 Drivers are all original. It was assumed driver number 164450 was reconed at some point but have learned this not the case. The white outer ring, used for mounting purposes, is the only thing that differentiates 164450 and this ring looks to similar to the one used on Tannoy Black. The diaphragms are original and used in Silver and Red LSU/HF/15L dual concentric speakers. The Tannoy Lancaster cabinet serial numbers match the speaker driver serial numbers stamped on the side.
