The connectivity includes a retractable antenna which you could swap out for an amplified Terk attenna however we found the FM reception exceptional, actually better than our hi fi stereo FM tuner with the Terk antenna. Included is a headphone input (small jack), line out, AM antenna out, and aux in. The speaker is very powerful and there is a lot of bass which is great if you like a full bodied sound. Our video show a CD being played (Keiko Matsui Jazz) and it sounds great but the FM radio almost sounds as good. This Tangent Cinque CD player is a great addition to any home audio setup.
