Celestion T1600 Tandberg TL5020 Bass Driver*Ditton. Listed as used because it works (but will need parts like dust cap and rubber surround to make it cosmetically better) I’ve not listed this ‘for parts or not working’ because it does work Now, I have two of these for sale, This is the first one, it’s going to need repairs but does work (and weirdly enough sounds pretty good considering the following) The rubber surround has been damaged at some point in its 50 year life (it’s been repaired by previous owner and then me with tape just to stop it getting worse but it’s not deterioration damage, it’s from something catching the speaker and causing a rip in the surround) You can buy generic surrounds and repair it but that’s for the new owner to look into Someone’s painted (badly with a paintbrush) the front of speaker frame The middle cone (dust cap) has been pushed in and this will need replacing to look mint The weird thing is that the speaker works great besides that, no scraping when moving the speaker cone backwards and forwards I didn’t even know this damage was there until I took the speaker grilles off as it still sounded absolutely fine This is from a Tandberg TL 5020 so is basically a celestion ditton 25/44/66 driver without the cone doping (they’ve left it as untreated paper) it’ll have slightly different tonal characteristics from a normal T1600 They’re a great sounding speaker and the celestion ones fetch between £45-£80 each on here and I can see why It actually says celestion on the rear I have another one of these for sale that’s in good condition Postage will be £10 due to the weight and size and will be to uk mainland only Any questions please feel free to ask Check my other listings
