Tandberg 3012A, 3012 A Amplifier. Used and well cared for. I bought it about 15 years ago and have used it on and off in my system. It is one of my best back-up amplifiers. All functions work as they should. Sounds great. Nice and quiet. An audiophile sound for a mid-fi budget. Very good visual condition. Some small flea-sized nicks on the front panel and the top. Please note, a cord is shown in the photos but it was taken from a Tandberg preamplifier I have just listed and was used here for testing- NO POWER CORD IS INCLUDED with this but a cord is easy to find. The original shipping box is included- it is not in perfect shape but will function fine as a shipper. There are three open outlets on the back. It was always like that and they may have been a factory option when originally ordered. I am also offering local pick up in Middletown, CT. I will be shipping this UPS unless a buyer prefers USPS- in this case UPS is 1/2 the cost. I will pack it myself. It will be sent fully insired. This is being sold as a working unit. Thank you.

It works normally, there is no noise from the switch button knob. I connected it to my ReVox B225 and the sound is very good. I have a phono stage with MM and MC. I use Thornes TD125 and Shure V15 lll phono cartridge to enjoy the songs of the Carpenter brothers and sisters. It is intoxicating. I found it very suitable for streaming digital content. I used it to enjoy the YouTube talent show. The sound was really touching and I have collected too many good machines. I share some with my friends who like music.
