Sometimes An equalizer is just the right tool. So many times we have to put our audio equipment in areas that just isn't conducive to good sound. For example a cubed room with all equal sides is not an ideal room for music listening. Rather a room with uneven sides and lengths is ideal. This cuts down on room nodes. Room nodes are just sound frequencies kind of running into each other. For this an EQ really is a great tool to tame and accent certain frequencies . It should enhance your listening experience. In order to use this your receiver must have a tape monitor input or a pre amp in to pre amp out. Or a tape 2 adaptor input. Please check this before purchasing .
