Tuner is in great shape. Lighted dial works as well as the tuning and fine-tuning LEDS. Cosmetically, its in good shape with only minor imperfections. Comes with audio cable, AM antenna, manual, and coax adapter. WARNING! Do not buy delicate unserviced electronics anywhere else NO LAZY PHOTOS OR DESCRIPTIONS There is a trend going on with sellers who sell vintage audio/video equipment. Most are not serviced or inspected properly or just simply copy and lie what other sellers do just to make the sale. They may also sell items well below value for this same reason or to support a bad habit. Please check my feedback for your confidence in this purchase. Avoid purchasing from sellers with lazy descriptions and who are probably inexperienced who are just listing item as they found them from the trash, thrift shop, flea market, yard sale, basement, attic, etc simply because they work as they found it with no servicing or proper inspection done. This includes long term testing, and other necessary servicing before and after sale inspection right before packing. An audio or video component may only work shortly when it arrives because they did not put in the important details in the description and it probably wasnt serviced which is prone to failure such as a good percentage of them do after a short use. Dust and shelf life may deteriorate and deform parts over a short period of time just sitting. Thats why all of my items are fully re-checked right before shipping from awakening after a long shelf life waiting for a sale. Most do not do any of this nor do they know how. This is a 1978-vintage Yamaha Natural Sound AM/FM Stereo Tuner CT-410 II that is completely tested, serviced and fully functional. The original 1978 MSRP was $185, which is the equivalent of $889 in 2024. This was an entry level Yamaha tuner in 1978. It was meant to pair with a Yamaha CA-410 II integrated amplifier, but the styling and size also match very well with most other silver-face Yamaha integrated amplifiers from the mid/late 1970s. Dimensions: 17” W, 5.5” H, 13” D, 13.2 lbs.I am passionate about vintage Yamaha stereo equipment. I take the time to test every single function of the tuner by connecting it to an outside FM antenna and also connecting it to an integrated amplifier and speakers. Doing this lets me listen to how the tuner receives stations and actually sounds. I check every single switch, control and button to confirm that they work as intended.After the initial assessment, I thoroughly clean the outside and inside of the tuner and clean every potentiometer and switch with CRC QD Electronic cleaner. I have aligned the tuning pointer so that it accurately indicates what frequency you are tuned to.This particular CT-410 II is in very nice shape cosmetically, as you can see from the photos. Functionally, all of the LEDs, meters, bulbs and controls work as designed. It is hard to believe that it is roughly 46 years old! This CT-410 II is serial #03309. It will be wrapped with plastic cling wrap and multiple layers of bubble wrap, before being placed into a sturdy box with appropriate packing material.
