The use one has no outer box but still have the foam, it has a bit of scratched paint on the top left corner of the chassis, possibly due to stacking (Pic 6,7,8,9,10,11). Other than that, there is no difference between how these two amp sound and look. Amp good for monoblocking 8+ ohms speakers only, not anything lower than 8 ohms, and seems to be the biggest disadvantage compare to newer Discrete version.
