Here is an expertly maintained, excellent condition Systemdek IIX turntable in oiled Teak. I have owned this since 1996. The cosmetics and operation are pristine. Except for slight peeling of the rear tag and light wear (for a unit of its age) on the smoked cover it is near mint. I replaced the motor with a new Premotec in 2023. Yes, there is a 60Hz spindle and it is 110 Volts. Dynamat has been applied to the platter carriage assembly and arm board. The original Jelco arm is quite good for medium compliance cartridges, effective mass of this arm & headshell is about 16 grams. It sounds lively and beautiful, not a dead table at all. Use a good silicone mat and you will hear right into the music.It comes with the stock felt mat. I am selling because I need a more massive base for my SME series III arm/V15xMR/Jico combo that after 45 years I have settled on which is very light and IMO needs a non-floating base to avoid resonance. Someone needs to enjoy this table as I have for 28 years now. The fact I kept it for so long ought to speak loudly.
