Pioneer SX-636 Stereo Receiver from 1974. In Excellent condition, please check the photographs. Serviced to include cleaning inside and out, all the pots and switches have been treated with switch cleaner, known issue noisy transistors replaced in the pre-amp, and the bias currents and offset voltages have been set. Soak tested for the last few months and 100% working, sounds lovely. This is a beautiful classic HiFi unit that would great in a modern environment. Original box included. Front panel labels are all intact, clear and easy to read. All buttons are easy and soft to operate. — the receiver has been serviced. — the potentiometers of the receiver were made clean. — during service old bad electrolytic capacitors in the signal path of the tuner, sound amplifier, output stage for a fresh sound were renewed, new capacitors from Nichicon and Panasonic audio series. — the reception of the tuner has been corrected. — electrical characteristics DC Offset, bias of the amplifier were set according to standards and values of the service manual of the device. The Phono channel for the turntable also have good sound. In good hands. Comes from a smoke-free room. Manufactured in Japan.
