The only thing I did to it was dry brush the face and rear and give it two new speaker fuses. Specs call for 2 Amp fuses but I only had 1.5 so those are what I tested it with. Sweet sound from both channels. Gorgeous silver face and multi-colored tuning window. FM antenna and two audio cables included. Theres a schematic in the box as well. Thanks for bidding!

A very reluctant sale, due to downsizing, of my Pioneer SX-636 Reciever. The case is in very nice condition. It is fully working and produces a gorgeous sound. I have owned this for some years. However it has not been serviced in the ten years I have owned it..It has not been used constantly or abused in my possession and I have loved owning it. Now its time for a new owner. I would recommend a service at this age to ensure its lasting beauty of performance, theres the odd crackle now and then but not a lot and all the controls are smooth with little if any crackle. . I am sure the people viewing this are well aware of the reputation of this classic beauty and what they are looking at with classic vintage hifi. Pioneer SX-636 Stereo Receiver from 1974. In Excellent condition, please check the photographs. Serviced to include cleaning inside and out, all the pots and switches have been treated with switch cleaner, known issue noisy transistors replaced in the pre-amp, and the bias currents and offset voltages have been set.
