SVS Ultra Bookshelf speakers are not made with mounting brackets/hardware -- as such, they can fall... and, they should be placed on a wide bookshelf or table top -- hence its name bookshelf speaker -- Okay, I got it, now. Ugggg. My pain: I did buy a single SVS Ultra Bookshelf to replace this speaker during the July Fourth outlet sale. Did I notice SVS is not making this Ultra anymore? ......BEST USE CASE FOR THE BUYERPARTS: All the components, drivers, crossover, back panel, and grill are in excellent condition not affected by the cosmetic damage. ON ITS SIDE: Place this speaker on its side, cosmetic damage downward. It might make a good enough center speaker when on its side. MOUNT IT: If you always wanted to mount an SVS speaker with a piano gloss finish, now you can buy this speaker and drill into the gloss finish without worrying about cosmetic issues. REPLACE IT: Already have an SVS Ultra this is not working? Heres your replacement. FIX IT: Oh, if your a magician in cabinetry and finish, heres your next project. ...... Since they are Gloss Black, there are swirl marks on the surface. They were kept in a clean, smoke free environment powered by a parasound A21 amplifier.
