Relisting as prior auction winner was a no-show Original owner. Purchased new about 20 years ago. I have the unit power cord and manuals I do not have the original box nor remote control. Not sure if it came with one. Have used it most of its life as a preamp as it has nice digital analog, converters and used volume adjustment through separate programmable remote control or via the knob directly on the unit. The lights in the panel need to be replaced to provide the green backlight for the McIntosh logos. The input selector knob is not functioning correctly. It works, and you can move it between the different inputs, but it jumps around and takes a little bit of finagling to get it on the exact input. I have not looked into the repair of this, and what that may entail. The physical volume knob on the unit works, and the volume goes up or down by four units on a scale to 100 with every click… Not sure if this is exactly normal but functions fine in that regard. Two scratches on the top portion of the bezel, which I have highlighted in the pictures. Overall though excellent cosmetic and physical condition aside from this. I’ve only used it with one input as a music streamer, (or CD player /transport at one point in time ) and always had a separate universal remote so none of these issues bother me. I upgraded to a new unit to support a turntable and I’m looking for this one to go to a new home. I am asking for local pick up as package and shipping would be quite expensive (~$100+ to have this packaged up and sent out) however, if someone really wants that I will consider it passing on the costs to the buyer.
