I am selling a Superscope CD330 portable tape deck. The deck does not rewind. Tested with 6V DC power supply and it works. The battery compartment is rusty. Also works with the 220 V cable. Unit is fully functional.MODS:Custom built in pitch control installed with a swtich to change between original playback speed and custom pitch cotnrol. With the switch set to the right, you activate the trim pot. Middle position has the recorder motor off. Far left position triggers the stock motor speed so the pot wont work then. I had to take out the counter to fit the pitch controller in there. I am still providing it with the sale. Ping-pong switch mod. If connected to a multi channel mixer, can be set as a mono in - stereo out ping-pong tape delay with a flip of a switch. The switch will connect internally left out to right in.It is also modified to play without the cover or a cassette placed in the bedding. I also provide the cassette cover. Its intact and can be installed.>>>RECORD MODE<<< is also modified, so be carefull when you press record. It will record on any cassette regardless if the protection pins are snapped out!!! Power cable included only for ~220V. I do not provide a DC power supply.

Marantz Superscope cd330 cassette field recorder. Working electrically but needs belts. When the play button Is partially pressed the reels rotate (except for tape counter) and sound can be heard. When the button is pressed the whole way putting full pressure on the capstan the reels stop. Belts are available and an excellent tutorial is onLine. I just do not have the time nor(to be truthful ) the will. No return or refund
