Juliette CB-9012 12 Transistor Super Heterodyne Transceiver, Vintage In Box. Condition is Used. Box is in good condition, if not very good condition. Small amount of packaging damage inside from years of storage. The unit is in very good condition, but has not been tested because the battery holder (6 AA) has gotten brittle and broke (see photos). You will need to replace it to use AA batteries. The unit was tested and works with a 9 volt. If you want to replace the holder, they are available for a few dollars here on ebay. NOTE: I TESTED THIS OLD STOCK UNIT AND IT DOES WORK AS IT SHOULD WITH A 9 VOLT BATTERY, BUT BECAUSE I DIDN’T HAVE AN ORIGINAL BATTERY COMPARTMENT TO TRY, THIS UNIT’S CONDITION IS SOLD AS WORKING, BUT AS IS, NO RETURNS. This is perhaps for that more particular individual, it's about as nice as you'll find, and it has been serviced by DHS speaker - basically a series II on steroids, please see the pics as they tell the story, so many upgraded capacitors… this has been in use in my home for the past couple of years. I'm downsizing so I can't keep it all. I would estimate this has about a hundred hours on it since it was serviced (new / better capacitors, some additional parts in the amp section to enhance the curve to where it belongs, shielding etc ... this is better than when it was new in terms of performance because they used better parts at DHS and it sounds absolutely fantastic. Cabinet is nice w/ minimal handling evidence - it is more of a traditional walnut color - the pics w/ flash color it some. This is a nice one.
