Happy Holidays eBayers!Up for auction we have one (mostly) working Sunfire Cinema Grand Signature Power Amplifier. This is the series I with 405 WPC into 8 ohms. 810 WPC into 4 ohms. I say Mostly because the left rear channel went out I have no idea when. The unit has been working solidly for me for a little more than a decade and I got it right here on eBay. As you can see in the pics the lamp still works. There is no evidence of the infamous hum issues that you may have read about with these units when they age. I at one point did some modifications/upgrades to my speakers crossovers, which improved the sound greatly, but dropped the impedance down to 4 ohms. This thing didnt even notice and kept on pumping out the watts! Its dynamic as hell on Movie soundtracks from Blu-ray and 4K Blu-ray discs. It worked great and then one day I discovered the left rear channel was not working. I initially thought it was the Pre/Pro and replaced that. Only to discover the problem was still there! The only other issue is one of the RCA jacks on the left front channel is slightly loose. It was like that when I purchased the unit used here on eBay and I simply used the other one until I switched to the XLR inputs. I thought about putting the unit in the shop to get it fixed and decided not to because that would have meant my system would be down for months until I got it back and I simply replaced it with another slightly newer Sunfire. You can see in the pics there are some scratches and blemishes on the top panel. As they say one mans trash is another mans treasure. Please ask any and all questions BEFORE BIDDING. Good luck!

Im selling my personal Sunfire Cinema Grand, 5 channel power amplifier. It provides 200 watts per channel into 8 ohms delivering tremendous power, low distortion and awesome sound quality for both multi-channel and stereo listening. The amplifier is in great working order and sounds wonderful. I have treated this amp very kindly and its overall condition is very good, but there are some minor scratches on top and sides from moving it around over the years. I used a flash on some pics to accurately portray condition, but without it you may not notice the scratches much. The front face and glass are in great shape and the original meter lights work. This is a fabulous and well-reviewed amplifier designed by the legendary audio equipment designer, Bob Carver. I have enjoyed it every day for well over 20 years and Im sure you will love it as well. Im only selling because I need a physically smaller amplifier to fit in my new (and rather shallow) BDI media cabinet. Im sad to see it go... Hello and thank you for viewing our listing! We are very excited to offer this auction at a low starting price! Here we have a Sunfire Cinema Grand amplifier. Please read the full description as this one is a bit of an oddity. First, when we received this item we were scratching our heads to try and figure out why the previous owner may have painted the front face of such an expensive item, but that appears to be the case when looking closely at the finish. This item usually has make and model imprinted on the front of the unit and that is missing here. Upon closer inspection the finish seems to be painted, but we did not attempt to remove the paint. This item is WORKING and was tested to be outputting sound on ALL CHANNELS. No further service work was done besides cleaning. The bulb in the meter does appear to be burned out as it does not illuminate when the unit is turned on. This unit has scratches and scuffs throughout that can be seen in the listing photographs. Please refer to those photographs for the most accurate condition of this item. This item is missing 2 of the rubber feet on the bottom of the unit (pictured). This is easily fixed by ordering more on Amazon. Besides all of the above this unit is pretty clean overall and should make a fine addition to someones home theater.
