Im großen S.9-Gehäuse (ca. 36 x 41 x 42 cm) stecken eine 350 Watt starke Endstufe und ein Tieftonchassis mit 210-mm-Membran. Dazu wurde anstelle einer Bassreflexöffnung ein weiteres 210-mm-Chassis als Passivmembran an der Gehäuseunterseite eingesetzt, so dass auch bei extremen Pegeln keine Strömungsgeräusche auftreten können. Das große Volumen und die erweiterte Membranfläche machen sich dabei in einer unteren Grenzfrequenz von 30 Hertz und einem Maximalpegel von weit über 110 dB bemerkbar. Werte, die mit noch deutlich größeren Subwoofern locker mithalten können. Dafür ist der S.9 immer noch handlich. Auch dieser Subwoofer stammt von meinem Bruder; der hat sich doch noch mal entschlossen, sich zu Weihnachten ein noch besseres System zu gönnen bzw. seine Anlage umzubauen.Zunächst bekomme ich dann von meinem Bruder die Sachen mit Vorkaufsrecht; ich möchte meine Anlage aber nicht mehr umrüsten, weil ich damit schon sehr zufrieden bin (habe dicken Onkyo Receiver mit 9 Lautsprechern von Quadral - reicht mir)Eine Besichtigung des Subwoofers vor Kauf wäre natürlich auch gern möglich, sowie Abholung in Hennef (nähe Bonn) Weitere Beschreibungen und technische Daten möchte ich nicht vornehmen; wer sich solche Lautsprecher zulegt, der weiß eigentlich was er will und was die können - alle weiteren Daten finden sich im Internet. Pro-Jects X-tension 9 Evolution incorporates all of their turntable design experience from more than 20 years. The X-tension 9 chassis is made from MDF filled with metal granulate, giving it a high mass while minimizing resonance. Magnetic feet, decouple the main plinth from its base. The table mass itself is a weighty 16kg (35.3 Lbs) The result is a unique combination of ’mass loaded’ and ’floating turntable’ design principles for dead silence and low noise. Instead of pure metal for the main platter, Pro-Ject developed a perfect alloy which is damped with thermoplastic elastomers (TPE). Additionally they include an integrated Vinyl mat which is baked to the platter before going through a precision balancing procedure. Der Abnehmer hat ca. 10 Lieder gespielt ( ca. 45 min ) . Aufgrund das mehrere Systeme vorhanden sind , ist dieses hier über und kann somit in andere gute Hände .
