THE PREAMP AND AMP ARE BOTH ABLE TO BE RACK MOUNTED AND HAVE A BEAUTIFUL SILVER BRUSHED DESIGN THAT I THINK WERE MADE TO LOOK IDENTICAL TO THE PIONEER SPEC SERIES OF THAT TIME WITH THE DESIGN AND RACK HANDLES. ALL ORIGINAL NEVER HAD ANY WORK DONE AND ALWAYS CONNECTED WITH HIGH QUALITY CABLES IN TO HIGH QUALITY POWER FILTRATION DEVICES. THEY WORK AND SOUND GREAT BUT HAVE SOME MINOR FLAWS. THE LEFT VU METER BULB IS DIMMER THEN THE RIGHT VU METER BULB, NOT BY MUCH BUT IT IS NOTICEABLE.I WAS GOING TO REPLACE THE BULBS AND PUT WHITE OR BLUE LEDS IN FOR THE METERS BUT NEVER NEVER GOT AROUND TO IT. PURELY COSMETIC FLAW. THE KNOBS HAVE A BIT OF STATIC WHEN YOU TURN THEM THE VOLUME AND BALANCE KNOBS BUT ONCE IN PLACE NO ISSUES.THIS IS JUST DIRTY POTS AND CAN BE CLEANED EASILY WITH DEOXIT IF YOU WANTED TO TAKE THEM APART AND DO IT TO RESTORE THEM PERFECTLY.
