There are a few features that I liked that have been changed since the speakers were first released in 2008 . This earlier release still had 20 watts per speaker (rather than the newer ones with only 15 watts), and it still had the Bass Boost switch on the back, which was later eliminated. There are a lot of pro reviews online that were published in 2008. It’s amazing that any electronic item is still being produced almost 20 years later with very minimal changes. The speakers I am selling are the earlier model, in excellent condition. There is a small scrape on the side of one speaker, visible only upon close inspection (see photo). I am retired, downsizing to a much smaller home, much smaller desk area, just won’t have the space anymore. Hate to see them go…they are great quality speakers, and good looking. If you want to go beyond enjoying music and videos to creating your own, you need a serious speaker system with accurate sound. M-Audio studio speakers are music industry bestsellers.
