Der Kopfhörer hatte vor wenigen Jahren neue Ohrpolster erhalten.Darüber hinaus wurde der marode Staubschutz aus Schaumstoff im Gehäuse hinter den Elektrostaten durch längerlebigen Organzastoff ersetzt. Dazu ist der Stax-Kopfhörer durch den Strohhalm-Trick modifiziert, d.h. ein Stück Strohhalm wird unten zwischen Gehäuse und Ohrpolster eingeschoben. Das hat zur Folge, dass der Hörer etwas belüftet ist. Für mich klingt es etwas offener und das Stax-typische Knacken der Elektrostatenfolie durch Druck auf den Hörer wird durch den Druckausgleich unterbunden. Der Hörer und das Verstärkerteil sind funktionsfähig, der Stax SR-202 hat einen sehr detaillierten und offenen Klang. Seltener STAX UA-90 12 Zoll-Tonarm in OVP! Zum Verkauf steht ein sehr seltener 12-Tonarm mit Wechselrohren der Firma STAX aus Japan. Audiophilen sagt der Name etwas und man denkt automatisch an deren legendäre Kopfhörer. Stax stellte aber in den 1970ern und 80ern auch hervorragende Elektronik (Vorverstärker, Endstufen), Tonarme und auch die berühmten Kondensator-Tonabnehmersysteme her (von denen ich auch eines verkaufe!). Der UA-90 besitzt ein Einpunkt-Edelsteinlager. Wer jetzt denkt, das ist so ein schlabberiger Einpunkter, der irrt. Durch die Lateralgewichte und seine Führung ist der Tonarm stabil wie ein konventionell gelagerter Tonarm - nur eben mit dem reibungsarmen Einpunktlager.Normalerweise kam der UA-90 mit einer separaten Tonarmstütze, die aber nicht auf jedem Laufwerk gut plaziert werden kann. Dieses Exemplar besitzt eine integrierte Stütze, was die Montage erheblich vereinfacht. Der Zustand ist mit gebraucht/mit Gebrauchsspuren korrekt beschrieben. Es finden sich Marken auf dem Tonarmschaft von der Feststellschraube ebenso wie auf dem/den Headshells (s. Fotos).Zwei Reparaturen sind zu erwähnen: Erstens eine kaum sichtbare Klebung an der Lift-/Stürzen-Ebene hinten unter dem Gegengewicht. Zweitens eine etwas rustikale Reparatur des Erstbesitzers an der sich lösenden Tonarmrast (Foto). Das könnte man schöner machen oder die Tonarmrast ersetzen (gibt es als Einzelteil z.B. von Technics für wenige Euro), mich hat es nach kurzer Zeit nicht mehr gestört. Beide Reparaturen beeinträchtigen natürlich nicht die Funktion! Die Funktion ist einwandfrei, der Tonarm ist leichtgängig in allen Ebenen. Damit das so bleibt muss das Lager bei Montage/Systemmontage gewissenhaft aus seiner Lagerschale gehoben und evtl. mit etwas Schaumstoff unterlegt werden. Macht man das konsequent, dann hat das Lager ein ewiges Leben, da nichts verkleben oder verharzen kann. Der Tonarm kommt in der OVP inkl. der Umverpackung. Originales Tonarmkabel, zusätzliches Gegengewicht (auf den Fotos eingeschraubt, aber nur selten nötig!), originale Tonarmbasis etc. vorhanden; Schablone ebenso wie die Bedienungsanleitung.Zusätzlich kommt ein zweites Armrohr mit, das der Erstbesitzer - weshalb auch immer - neu verkabelt und mit einem externen Stecker versehen hat. Kann man so verwenden, oder man lötet die Drähtchen wieder an der Kupplung an. Ebenfalls in OVP. Insgesamt ein rares Stück mit Gebrauchsspuren, dafür (über-)komplett und technisch einwandfrei. Zuletzt habe ich den Tonarm mit einem STAX CP-Y Kondensatortonabnehmer gehört - einfach hervorragend!
