Receiver powers on and functions. Needs remote to use volume up and down and when I turn wheel it does the opposite of turning volume up. Someone who knows what they are doing can probably fix it with a small fix. I’m not that person! Heavy unit. That’s only issue with it. Rest of it works great!

It has been well taken care of. 125 watts per channel, this was Marantz’s top of the line A/V receiver and delivers amazing audio and can power very demanding speakers. This unit needs service, however it does work with issues. I am the original owner. Comes with everything as new . Mounted in a rack and never moved from original location. Sold as-is due to the following issues. 1.) Issues with HDMI inputs! Had sound, however no picture. Unplugged all HDPI inputs, reset receiver, plugged in inputs and it worked. However it is glitchy, not reliable. 2.) Main front panel display would go out, however porthole display would stay on. Reset helped, but I feel it still needs service. Photos in auction show unit right before I boxed it up. With both displays working. I replaced this unit with a new Denon X-4800h ($2,499.00) because I don’t have the time to go without my theater room which is our main viewing area. This receiver has virtually every input available except balanced inputs. The SR7009 has 9 powered channels and 2 subwoofers. Add an external 2 channel amp to produce a total of 11 channels. This receiver has always blown me away. The included Dolby Atmos is IMHO the object oriented surround to have. Very clean, includes all accessories that originally came with unit. In very clean original box. Remember this unit is sold not working. For more information go to Marantz.com and pull down a PDF product sheet. Note, I do have a Marantz rack mount kit for this receiver. It is model RMK8003AV. It is available in another listing. It fits numerous SR receivers, Marantz pre-amps and Amplifiers.
