Der Kopfhörer ist, seinem Alter entsprechend, gut erhalten. Eines der Gitter an der Innenseite ist an einer Stelle verfärbt (siehe viertes Bild). Beide Treiber funktionieren einwandfrei. Das letzte Bild zeigt meine aktuellen Messungen am MiniDSP Ears, mit angedrückten Hörern (nur so ist der Bass zu messen). Der SR-202 bietet einen preiswerten Einstieg in die Welt der elektrostatischen Kopfhörer. Er klingt wärmer und kräftiger, dafür aber weniger raffiniert und luftig als etwa mein Lambda Signature. Technisch spielt er dennoch in einer ganz anderen, höheren Liga als die meisten dynamischen Kopfhörer. Sein Betrieb ist natürlich nur an einem Stax-kompatiblen Verstärker mit Pro-Anschluss möglich.
