The remote and streamer work perfectly. They were installed as part of my multi-room system but my NAS (which hosted the Logitech Media Server) died and I decided not to replace it. Take notice of the blurry screen. It's still fully functional, but I damaged it preparing to sell the unit. If you look at the remote, you'll see the eyeballs sticker which my son put on there when he was 8 or so (quite awhile ago now). There was an identical eyeball on the squeezebox itself that I attempted to remove. When the glue residue proved stubborn, I unfortunately pulled out my wife's acetone and didn't test it before trying it. It did the job on the glue, but also appears to have melted the plastic of the screen a bit and made possibly more of a mess. You are bidding on a Logitech Slim Devices Squeezebox Classic V3, in the box and working when removed from service. IMHO Logitechs Squeezeboxes are among the best streaming audio devices ever made. They sound good, work reliably, and are simple to set up and use. For years I had several connected to stereo sound systems in our home. Just turn it on and Logitechs Squeezebox website filled the room with my favorite Pandora music. The remote made it easy to select stations, adjust volume, control playback, and mark favorites. Unfortunately, Logitech shut down their Squeezebox website in the spring of 2024. Without the website Squeezeboxes can no longer stream music from Pandora. But they can still stream music from your computer, for example from your iTunes library or from other sources on your server. (To do so you need to install open source software from the Lyrion website on your PC or Mac.) So if you have a library of music on your computer(s) Squeezeboxes are still a very good way to send it to sound systems elsewhere in your home or business. This particular Squeezebox is the wired version 3 of the classic Slim Devices series (see photos). It comes with the remote, power supply, manual, and other paperwork in the original box. (Youll have to provide your own Ethernet cable since I dont know how long a cable youll need.) This Squeezebox was working on the day that Logitech shut down their website and it still boots up (see photo 2). Its clean and the only physical damage is a small tear in the box under the label visible in the last photo.
